Reshaping our business for you

During the recent period of change, here at Lecico Bathrooms we have been working on reshaping our business to improve the way we support and service our customers. As a result of the impact of Covid-19, we have recognised that the way we interact, develop opportunities, and communicate with customers’ needs to change. We have created a more dynamic and flexible structure supported by an improved contact strategy for all levels within our customer base.


Our merchant and distribution teams, headed by Sales Director Kate Hirst, will continue to focus on increasing sales of Lecico products through branches, developing initiatives and promotions to support specific customer needs and ensuring that best in class customer relationships are maintained. The team will be responsible for Atlas, Designer Series, Elect, White Label and OEM products. Additionally, through the restructured National and Key Accounts team they will work to develop trading agreements to deliver increased growth for our loyal trading customers. All customers under this structure will receive a minimum agreed cycle of contact through either face to face or online depending on specific requirements at the time.


We will continue to create demand for Lecico products in the marketplace through our specification and contracts sales team headed up by Business Development Director Tom Farrant. This team will also support our customers where they are seeking an alternative solution through value engineering to improve contract performance for our customers. In addition, his team will be responsible for supporting those customer branches, regions and sectors that have a contract or estimating function. Our quote turnaround service of 48 hours will remain in place.


Our website has been redesigned to include easier to access data sheets and product information. We are also working on a new secure customer area containing an up to date image bank. This should be available from early August and we will communicate how to access this closer to the launch date.


To underpin our service offer we have appointed John Brooks to the role of Supply Chain and Operations Director. John has significant experience at Lecico and the wider construction supply chain. John will be responsible for product development, sourcing, procurement, and operational excellence. John’s team will be responsible for our strategic supplier relationship plan and the demand planning process with our internal factories.


Additionally, we are currently in the process of recruiting for the position of Marketing Manager. This investment will further support our desire to improve our communication with customers, improve our profile in the marketplace and help our customers grow sales and improve financial performance in the coming years. A further announcement will follow once we complete the recruitment process.


At Lecico we firmly believe we have put in place a structure that is fit for purpose as we continue to move toward a new and dynamic way of working with our customers.
