JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager 

DEPARTMENT: Sales 

LOCATION: Home based 

REPORTS TO: National Account Manager 

 

Principle Accountabilities 

• Responsible for strategically managing customer branches through targeting specific objectives to create growth. 

• To maintain close liaison with Internal Account Manager in order to manage the assigned merchant customer portfolio and ensure all branches have the required level of contact. 

• Create opportunities for contract colleagues to value engineer quotes. 

• To establish and maintain good customer relations, particularly by prompt and efficient response to queries and complaints. 

• Complete all activity and opportunities within CRM system. 

• Ensure all administration tasks are kept up to date and completed on time in full. 

• Proactively representing the company as required at gatherings such as industry events, sales meetings, product promotions and training sessions. 

• Contribute ideas towards future business and product development.
