JOB TITLE: Internal Account Manager

REPORTS TO: National Account Manager

BASED: Bedford


The Role

The focus of this role is to work with the relevant account manager to create growth within the targeted accounts by increasing stock holding branches, creating product awareness & increasing sales on new products into the range. It would suit a personable individual who can think outside the box to passionately 'Boss your own Area'. Maintaining a thorough understanding of products, services & sales process is a key function of this role.

Job Duties

  • Growing your territory through Account Management and Business Development
  • Make a high volume of calls in a professional manner according to agreed standards.
  • Liaise effectively with customers, processing orders, dealing with stock issues to ensure our customer gets their orders, answering aftersales issues & staying in regular contact via outbound calling and email.
  • Process sales orders received on the day of receipt and ready for delivery.
  • Record and deal with stock discrepancies
  • Provide customers and potential customers with quality and accurate information
  • Research and understand how product is a made and functions to enable a comprehensive understanding of customer questions.
  • Create & record information in CRM.
  • Cover for colleagues as and when required
  • Use computer systems such as Salesforce, Exchequer, Excel, Outlook and Word
