JOB TITLE:                   Specification Manager

DEPARTMENT:             Specification

LOCATION:                   Home based (With some travel to customers/factories)

REPORTS TO:              Business Development Director


Principle Accountabilities

  • To work with customers and sales teams to increase market share of Lecico product in the UK.
  • Develop sales from Housing Associations, Residential Care Homes, House Builders Plumbing Contractors, Main Contractors and other agreed segments.
  • Create and manage long term strategic relationships with architects and designers to achieve written specification of Lecico products.
  • Exceed set company sales and profit targets.
  • Contribute ideas towards future business and product development using evidence from the market.
  • Split time between Architect/Specifiers
  • Update all contact and quotations on the Lecico CRM system.
  • Produce quotes when required.
  • Have control of Pipeline with future projects. Report a phased breakdown of projects won and value to Lecico.
  • Present monthly on area performance, with sales achieved and pipeline for future projects.
  • Deliver CPD presentations to Architects over video or face to face depending on requirements of client.


Skills and experience necessary

  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels. This should include written, face to face, video and phone.
  • Competent in creating high quality solutions and materials that help win new customers and projects.
  • Background in project-based sales process.
  • Experience of the sanitaryware contract market (Or from an aligned construction related industry) and the associated processes.
  • Demonstrable track record of winning new business. Genuine business deal closer who thrives in winning the deal.
  • Strong presenter with experience in relationships with senior customer contacts.
  • Good relationship builder for long term partnerships.
  • Computer literate including Microsoft Excel, Work, PowerPoint and Teams (Or similar).
