JOB TITLE: Trainee Estimator

DEPARTMENT: Sales  

LOCATION: Lecico, Unit 2D Viking Industrial Estate, Hudson Road, Bedford, MK41 0QB

REPORTS TO: Lead Estimator

The Role:

Our number one objective is Growth. We have consistently increased our turnover over the last three years and are developing our sales and marketing structure to support this. Working with the Lead Estimator & Estimator, the Trainee Estimator will support and drive growth in our specification & contract driven customer base. You will be enthusiastic, confident, and commercially astute with a professional work ethic.

• Hours 8.30-17.00 Mon – Fri with 1 hour lunch break (Break room has TV, games, and Pool Table)
• Pay £18,000 - 10% annual bonus available.
• Car required - No
• Age restriction - None
• Uniform – Polo shirt provided with Jeans or trousers.

Principle Accountabilities:

• Provide an excellent service to the Specification & Contracts sales team by producing accurate and well-presented quote documents to assist in them obtaining sales to be delivered within the 48 hour agreed time frame using Adobe PDF & Salesforce (our quoting system)
• Develop and produce high quality, bespoke tenders in conjunction with the sales team to be delivered within the 48 hour agreed time frame
• Maintain regular communication with the internal and external teams
• Manage product requirements for the team feeding requests into the product manager
• Engage with our customers and listen to ensure their buy in when required
• Manage CRM requests
• Take ownership of all quotations written on our systems ensuring forecasting is correct and are updated on a regular basis
• Come up with ideas to enhance sales opportunities
• Produce monthly pipeline reports based on quotation activity
• Analyse and utilise market data and communicate it
• Produce reports and analysis of our quoting data and deliver it back into the business
• Support and promote Lecico’s Mission, vision, and values
• Hit, achieve, and exceed agreed KPI’s
